Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no tracking pixels or third-party embeds. Fonts and videos are served from this domain. The only personal information collected is what you choose to type into the contact form. The demonstration projects are separate — they are covered below.

Who we are

This site is operated by Palmara Ventures Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (incorporation number BC1310035), carrying on business as Cleverstack (“we”, “us”, “our”). Palmer Joseph is its director. Questions about this document go to palmer@cleverstack.co.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form: your name, your email address, your phone number (optional), and your message.

Information processed automatically. Your IP address is checked when you submit the form, solely to limit how many submissions one address can make in a minute. It is held only in the server’s memory, and only briefly — it is never written to a database and is not used to build a profile of you. Our hosting and network providers keep standard server logs, as any web host does.

How we use it

Only to read and reply to your enquiry. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list without you asking, and we run no advertising on this site.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, each of which processes your information only to provide that service to us, under its own privacy terms:

  • Brevo — delivers your contact-form message to our inbox
  • Vercel — hosts this site and keeps standard request logs
  • Cloudflare — DNS and network routing, and email forwarding for our domain
  • Google — the Gmail inbox where your enquiry is received and stored

Demonstration projects

The “Explore demo” links on this site open self-contained demonstrations running on fictional sample data. They do not collect your personal information, are not connected to any real inbox, CRM or payment system, and nothing you type into one is transmitted to us or to anyone else. A few of them show a contact or booking form as part of the interface — those entries go nowhere and are never stored. The Terms of Service explain in full what those demonstrations are and are not.

What the demonstrations do load. Four of them — Speed To Lead, Lead Enrichment Lab, NextRound Hiring and Forge Tracker — load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so opening one sends your IP address and browser details to Google, as it would on any site using that service. Forge Tracker also saves what you enter in your own browser’s local storage so it works offline; that stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser at any time. This site itself does neither.

Protected previews. A small number of private, access-controlled previews connect to accounts we own, and only when their signed-in operator expressly triggers an action. They use the Google Gmail API to create a draft or send a test message to pre-approved addresses we control, the Google Sheets API to write a sample shortlist to a spreadsheet we own, and Telegram to send an operator notification to a chat we own. They do not read inbox contents, access mailbox history, or use Google user data for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs, including any application we publish as Cleverstack, will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry stays in our email inbox for as long as we need it to deal with your request and keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • have it corrected if it is wrong
  • have it deleted
  • withdraw your consent to our use of it
  • not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights

We are based in British Columbia, Canada. If you are in Canada, your rights of access and correction arise under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal PIPEDA. PIPA counts its 30-day deadline in business days and allows that to be extended. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days — sooner than the law requires — and will tell you if we ever need the extension PIPA allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, contact us first at palmer@cleverstack.co and we will work it through with you; you may also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at any time.

If you are in California, we honour these rights voluntarily. We fall below the CCPA/CPRA thresholds, so the Act does not apply to us — and its right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information is moot here in any case, because we do neither.

To exercise any of them, email palmer@cleverstack.co. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on the request.

Who is responsible for privacy here

As required by BC PIPA, we have designated an individual responsible for our compliance with this policy and with privacy law. The role is our Privacy Officer, and you can reach them at palmer@cleverstack.co.

Where your information is processed

We operate from British Columbia, Canada. Our service providers store and process information outside Canada — principally in the United States (Vercel, Cloudflare, Google) and the European Union (Brevo). While it is outside Canada it is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to that country’s courts and law enforcement under their legal processes. By submitting the form you consent to it being handled this way.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information in transit and at rest, including serving this site over HTTPS and limiting abusive traffic to the contact form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top.
